Stand-up Comedy: I know what your thinking...

ComedyFix
ComedyFix host -- comedian Jason P. Lorber

Saturday night, Sept. 15
Sat. night, Sept. 15, 2012

RealityFix
Jason at the door

I know what you're thinking.
Actually, I don't know what you're thinking.
But I wish I knew what you were thinking.
And I wish you knew what I was thinking.
And what better way to know than to say, listen.

Because when we hear each others' stories, then we learn. Unless the other person speaks in a foreign language, in which case having an interpreter could come in handy.

What I'm trying to say, is that we've got two shows for you this Saturday:

RealityFix -- Real people. Tell true stories. For prizes.  Don't worry, it's only folks who volunteer and they're only five minute stories. This month's theme is "That's so gay."

ComedyFix -- Standup comedians make you laugh. (No nuance here, folks.) Featuring:
Vanessa Ament
Marc Bouchard
Kathleen Kanz
Jason P. Lorber
Ashley Watson

This month, partial proceeds of both shows benefit Pride Vermont.  And why not?  Both events are official events of the Vermont Pride Festival!  (We were pretty impressed ourselves.)

Both events are generously sponsored by Skinny Pancake and Chubby Muffin
They're so nice. And delicious.

Laugh locally. Every month ComedyFix™ offers kinda great comedians performing stand-up comedy at North End Studio.

294 N. Winooski, Burlington, VT

*Wheelchair accessible

Saturday, Sept. 15

RealityFix at  7:30 p.m.

ComedyFix at  9:30 p.m.

Kink N' Kabobs: Electrical Play

WandThis month's Kink 'N Kabobs focuses on electrical play! Curious about the use of electricity but don't know what it's all about? Want to learn what equipment is out there, some fun ideas for play, and how to play safely? Come on in to RU12? for a fun, informal discussion. Local enthusiasts will share their knowledge and experience with in-house equipment show-and-tells.

Kink 'N Kabobs is a part of RU12?'s Kink Discussion Group, held every 2nd Thursday of the month, co-presented by Vermont Alternative Sexu

ality Education (VASE). Each month a new topic is chosen to be explored and community members have a chance to meet others, talk about their experience, and expand their delightfully devious minds. Every three months experts are brought in for Kink 'N Kabobs, where kinksters can learn new skills or learn about something new.

This group is open to all genders, ages, sexual orientations, and sexual interests. We maintain a confidential space that is respectful of all.

For more information, contact Jean-Denis at jean-denis@ru12.org or call him at 860-7812. Events are posted on Facebook and also on www.fetlife.com(https://fetlife.com/events/125547/v2).
