Ads posted on our weekly Affordable Housing list are compiled from postings on Craigslist, Seven Days and the Burlington Free Press. We have no knowledge of the individuals posting these ads or of the existence or suitability of the properties. Community Action is not a housing provider and has no connection with landlords or property. CCA is not responsible for the condition or availability of these properties. No approval or recommendation is implied by their inclusion on this listing.

We advise using the same caution in responding to these ads as you would in responding to any other internet or newspaper advertising. When calling about an apartment listing, get the landlord’s name, address and phone number. Do not give money to any housing provider without getting a written receipt. If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of a landlord (to avoid giving money to a person not authorized to rent a property), you should contact the Town or City Hall where the property is located and ask to check their Grand List for the address in question.
