Mildred Moody's Full Moon Masquerade is a festival like event held every month to coincide with the full moon. It is now permanently being held at Signal Kitchen located inside 71 Main St. Burlington . Live bands, a photo booth, eclectic cabaret style acts, live art, DJs, dancing and ALWAYS raising money for charities and organizations, the artistic communities of Vermont have helped make this the best show in town.
Noon on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at RU12? Community Center. People of all ages, gender identities, sexual orentations, and skill levels to come together in a queer space. This peer led group meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8pm at RU12? This peer-led, informal group is open to all trans people and to any discussion topics raised. Try the Gay & Lesbian Squeer Dancing Basic/Mainstream class on Wednesday nights.
• Classes are free to newcomers who would like to check it out; after that classes are $5.00 each.
• The class for beginners will run from 7 - 8:30 with Plus Level Classes from 8:30 - 9:00 for our current club members
• We dance at the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf at 228 N. Winooski Ave., in Burlington
• Everyone is welcome: gay, lesbian, bi, trans, straight, couples, singles, young, old and dance experience is not necessary.
