Run Against Rape
The Run Against Rape (RAR) is a community-building, fundraising event during Sexual Violence Awareness Month. All proceeds go directly to RU12?’s anti-violence program SafeSpace. Supporters run/walk a 5k through Burlington’s parks to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual violence in our communities.
RU12? organizes this event in order to raise community support for survivors of all forms of violence. Oftentimes, LGBTQQ victims of violence are silenced and overlooked in our community — SafeSpace is changing the way people think about violence!
